The IABM Annual International Business Conference and Awards brought together leading figures from within the broadcast industry, as well as experts from the wider business world, to engage in two days of discussion and debate. The event addressed hot topics, disruptive technologies and recognised business best practices helping delegates find out more about subjects to improve improve their business.
The theme of the 2017 conference was very practical – ‘Elevating Business: Media and Technology Working Together’. Broadcast media and technology organisations know the business is changing fast through IT and IP technologies. We’re focusing on what this means today: how projects are being designed, how people are buying and selling, how IP and IT-enabled systems are being integrated and made interoperable – and how this differs from country to country. By bringing technology vendors and users together in this open forum, we were able to build a shared understanding of the best way to harness media technology with content and business.
