IABM Young Person of the year award winner - Aleksei Bukhalov

Each year IABM take students to both IBC and NAB Show Las Vegas. The standard of all students is exceptional but in 2017 there was one student in particular that stood out for our judges. Our winning student is studying for a Master’s Degree at the St.Petersburg State University of Film and Television. His dissertation is in Applications of Eye-tracking in the media industry, very relevant to immersive technologies such as Virtual and Augmented reality. It is clear, since his return from IBC, that the experience provided a vital insight into the media industry from both an academic and practical standpoint that will benefit his studies and career in the industry.
