EBU
The EBU is a very active Broadcast Union that undertakes technical research on behalf of its members. It pioneered digital video standards together with the SMPTE and formed a joint Task Force with SMPTE to define the transition to ICT television production techniques. The EBU pioneered the DVB transmission systems and hosts the DVB office.
