IABM Awards for Design & Innovation

We are delighted to announce that the winner of the 2009 IABM Peter Wayne Award for Design & Innovation Award is Winchester Electronics for their Fiber Optic Video Jack. CEO and President Michael Driscoll said "we are excited and honoured to have won this prestigious award".

The four IABM Awards for Excellence were presented to:

Appear TV – Digital Audio Levelling Solution

JVC – GY-HM Series Camcorders

Ocean Blue Software – RNIB

PHABRIX – SxE

This year has once again seen a record number of entries, however the depth of innovation, over an outstanding diversity of applications, continues to impress all members of the Judging panel.

Martin Salter, Chairman of the IABM Design & Innovation Awards Panel, said “The challenge for the judges is enormous yet immensely rewarding as to the insight that is provided to a continually evolving and innovating industry. My personal congratulations are extended to all entrants, not just those who have made the final short list, for the innovation and life that they bring to this industry.”

The IABM Awards for Design & Innovation recognise innovative products that offer significant solutions or opportunities within the broadcast and media technology industry. There are five awards in total: the highly acclaimed IABM Peter Wayne Award and four further Awards for Excellence.
