RSS Feed

With developments in the broadcasting and media technology industries moving so rapidly, keeping up-to-date with the latest information about industry changes as well as with what your competitors are doing, can be challenging. Wouldn't it be better to have the latest news and features delivered directly to you, rather than clicking from site to site? Well now you can, thanks to a very clever service called RSS.

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". In simple terms, it allows you to identify the content you like and have it delivered directly to your desktop. It takes the hassle out of staying up-to-date by showing you the latest headline information that you are interested in. If you then want to read more you can click through to see the full news item.

How do I start using RSS feeds?
The first thing you need is something called a "news reader". There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. All will allow you to display and subscribe to the RSS feeds you want. A basic reader, available free of charge, can be downloaded at http://allrss.com/rssreaders.html

Once you have your reader simply copy and paste the following url into your RSS Reader and wait for the IABM news to come to you.
