Headline	IABM Design And Innovation Awards Recognise Exceptional Innovation In Broadcast And Media Technology
Article	The IABM, who represent broadcast and media technology suppliers worldwide, have started taking entries for their prestigious Design and Innovation Awards. These awards culminate in the highly sought after Peter Wayne Award for Design and Innovation awarded annually at IBC in Amsterdam. Roger Crumpton, CEO of the IABM comments, “The Peter Wayne Award was first introduced in 1990 in memory of the late Peter Wayne who was an officer of the Association for many years. The award has become synonymous with outstanding design and innovation and it singles out companies for recognition by their peers. Previous winners of this award include: Omneon Video Networks, Link Research, Snell & Wilcox, Sony, Quantel and Pixelmetrix. Every year there is fierce competition for these awards. Applicant companies have their entries reviewed and short listed by a distinguished panel of international judges with the Finalists announced immediately prior to IBC. At the event the Finalists then have to demonstrate their achievement to a judging panel who decide the winner of the IABM Peter Wayne Award and four further IABM Awards for Excellence.
