Digital Marketing Assistant, Student Placement 

Reporting to IABM Online Media Executive

The Association may require you to work at any of other sites operated by the IABM or any such other place as we may reasonably determine.

Principal Functions    

You will support the Association with all of the IABM’s Digital marketing communications. 

Key Tasks/Accountabilities

  • Work with the Online Media Executive to implement and execute the digital marketing strategy including website, e-­‐shots, newsletters, social media, webinars and video content
  • Maintain digital marketing activities including website, e-­‐shots,  e-­‐bulletins, blogs, newsletters, social media, webinars and PR to increase our online brand presence
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the IABM’s websites to attract maximum engagement 
  • Assist with the maintenance of the IABM Video channel and ensure that content is engaging and fresh 
  • Active posting, digital reporting and maintaining IABM’s presence on online platforms and social media
  • Representing IABM with a professional manner and polished appearance at industry events, tradeshows and exhibitions as required and as agreed with the Online Media Executive
  • Assist with video interviewing members and taking photographs at IABM events
  • Assist with the co-­‐ordination of video footage and taking ad hoc video footage and taster information to capture the ambience of IABM and other events for social media purposes
  • Regular updating of the website and social media whilst at IABM events
  • Work closely with UK team members to identify and develop opportunities to promote related training courses, conferences, market intelligence, sponsorship and memberships
  • Interacting with other members of the overseas sales teams to optimise efficiency 
  • All duties to be carried out with due regard to Data Protection and Confidentiality
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required by your line manager or senior management and liaising with other departments and offices of IABM.

To provide an outstanding customer service to our clients, prospective clients, customers and suppliers.

Procedures and Guidelines
You are required at all times to comply with our rules, policies and procedures in force from time to time.

Other duties

This position requires an articulate, detailed and hard-working team player that has an interest in digital.

  • Excellent attention to detail, and both written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of Digital Marketing; including content marketing, social media and analytics
  • Good at prioritising workflow, and working flexibly on different projects
  • Experience using Content Management Systems, Google Analytics, Photoshop an advantage
  • Willingness to learn

An established UK based manufacturer of broadcast workflow automation solutions is seeking an knowledgeable and enthusiastic product specialist to work in a key consultative pre-sales and support role alongside the existing worldwide customer service and sales team. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of current practice around broadcast and post-production workflows in particular, involving ingest, transcoding, Metadata, MXF, delivery and playout. It is likely that you will have some formal education in broadcast or media production or you will have worked in a technical broadcast engineering or post-production facility or organisation. You will have a naturally organised and clear approach and be an excellent communicator, who is able to listen, understand and advise your customers regarding the production application challenges in order to develop and deliver the best solution. In the role you will be required to travel throughout the UK and also internationally within Europe, and occasionally to the USA, Asia or the Middle East. Channel Sales Manager, Broadcast Audio Solutions

Market Sector: Broadcast

Salary: €60,000 - €75,000 per annum

An established manufacturer of AOIP solutions for the broadcast market is seeking an experienced channel sales person with a good knowledge of broadcast systems to manage and develop their international distribution channel sales. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a consistent record of success in a sales role including the natural ability to prospect, pitch and close on a regular basis. In addition, you shall have a well-developed understanding of the broadcast market in terms of workflows for news gathering and production, post-production and live to air production. You will be comfortable with broad technical concepts behind networking and Audio over IP, but you are not required or expected to be an engineer. You should however be comfortable discussing and understanding the deployment of technology and IT solutions within a broadcast business. This role will require regular international travel and you will need to be highly organised, and capable of operating effectively and independently. First class communication skills in English will be required.

Principal RF Design Engineer E14-FY17 at ETL Systems

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our growing Engineering department.  This position will take a key design role in the RF & Microwave design team working proactively on commercial projects as well as R&D work.  You will be working on a broad range of products including passive and active circuit designs, with a particular bias towards leading the RF Amplifier and ETL Components product lines.

We are looking for an RF and Microwave Design Engineer with extensive hardware development experience. This role is best suited to passionate individuals with a strong background and knowledge in the fields of RF design and technologies.

Experience of designing and developing a range of RF and Microwave products over the spectrum of DC-6GHz is essential, with experience up to Ku/K/Ka bands being highly desirable.  You will also lead the design and development of new ranges of products, including technical documentation.  This role requires an excellent understanding of interaction and relationships between key parameters including gain, power levels, linearity, VSWR, NF, signal related spurii etc. Some knowledge of the Satellite Communications industry/technologies/techniques is desirable.

You will be a strong team player, able to operate as both an innovator and an implementer.  A strong analytical approach is desired with a clear track record of success and delivery to cost and timescales, benefitted by your commercial understanding. In addition to this, you will have the ability to lead projects or small teams and mentor junior colleagues.
