The final destination of everything a broadcaster does is the viewer and the listener, this is as true today as it has always been but our views and listeners are different; they want their content on multiple devices in multiple formats, possibly even synchronised between devices.
What we used to do with a few transmitters using a single format, we now have to do over multiple mediums with multiple formats. More specifically IP connections are slowly moving into a dominant position.
- How do we cater for Smart phones, Tablets and Connected TVs for viewers on the go and in the home?
- How do we supply multiple versions our material and what do we do about content protection and rights management?
- Who pays for the transcoding and what are the consequences?
- How does automation and media management improve efficiency?
Hear how some of the major players are tackling these issues at the upcoming event.
This event is free for IABM Members to attend, please contact info@theiabm.org to book your place.
