The IABM and BBC Academy Loudness Lecture brings together manufacturing, technology, R&D, and production organisations to explore the changing nature of how sound is managed and measured around the world – from peak programme to dynamic range limiting and expansion.
During the evening experts from BBC R&D, EBU and a range of manufacturers will discuss the challenges Loudness presents for the broadcast and production industry, as well as the background to Loudness, what the technical standards are and accepted practices used throughout the EBU, and how to integrate this into the workflow. This will be followed by an industry panel discussion.
This event is free for IABM members to attend but places are limited and pre-registrations is essential. To reserve your place, please email Elaine Bukiej on info@theiabm.org with your name, job title, company and email address.
