NVerzion Introduces Automation System Migration Program

14 Jun 2012

Offers Broadcasters With End-of-Service Automation Systems a Seamless Transition to a Supported, Redundant Automation Platform

NVerzion, a leading provider of cutting-edge tools for digital broadcasting and television station automation, today announced a new customer service migration program designed to support broadcasters that are currently using automation systems with no future support by helping them migrate to a fully functional and redundant automation solution. The customer service migration program is centered on NVerzion's Component Level Automation System Solutions (CLASS), a highly reliable, flexible, and scalable automation platform that offers easy integration with a broadcaster's existing equipment.

"NVerzion has recently been approached by a number of broadcasters who are worried about maintaining continuity of their operations due to an increasing number of broadcast automation vendors that are no longer sustaining their automation products or supporting their existing solutions," said Reed Haslam, NVerzion's director of sales and marketing. "NVerzion's new customer service migration program helps broadcasters integrate a new broadcast automation platform cost-effectively and seamlessly into their facility so that they can reliably keep their station on-air."

Rather than replace legacy equipment, CLASS uses software components to provide system-wide control for ingest, playout, asset management, graphics, and business management, and is interoperable with all manufacturers and common traffic systems, providing broadcasters with a comprehensive, unified platform that delivers continuous and reliable operation. The CLASS system features a modular design that allows broadcasters to customize their automation solution cost-effectively, based on their specific needs. The highly scalable platform can easily be upgraded in the future to support a broadcaster's evolving needs.

CLASS is available in two platforms: a complete package that includes all of the necessary components for automation, business management, video server, master control/routing, and character generation; or as a customized system that is fully interoperable with a station's existing equipment. Both solutions can offer broadcasters a fully redundant platform with backup capabilities, which guarantees to keep a station on the air if one or more system components fail.

More information about CLASS and NVerzion's customer service migration program is available at www.nverzion.com.
