As Chief Executive, Peter’s responsibilities include the development and implementation of the association’s strategies; representing our members at executive level to organizations around the world and overseeing the smooth running of the IABM. Together with the whole team, Peter is focussed on establishing the IABM as the authoritative voice of the industry.
Originally Peter qualified as an accountant and before joining IABM he enjoyed a long career as the FD and then CEO of many complex organizations across a number of sectors including, printing and graphics, direct response and direct marketing, high tech capital equipment manufacturing and nursery products design, manufacturing and retail. He has also been a Tutor at the Leadership Trust, a consultant for lean manufacturing, best practice and Kaizen and Chair of PE backed businesses.
Peter is the IABM’s main representative and senior manager in APAC. Peter's responsibilities include recruiting new members and supporting existing members, developing new business relationships and increasing awareness of the IABM throughout the APAC region.
Elaine is the primary point of contact for our members and for all enquiries concerning the IABM. She is responsible for maintaining our CRM system and organizing our exhibition presence. Elaine also provides support to the Chief Executive.
As the IABM’s main representative and senior manager in North America, Caryn’s responsibilities include recruiting new members and supporting existing members, developing new business relationships, increasing awareness of the IABM in the vendor and broadcaster communities, and growing the profile of the IABM throughout the North American media industry.
Lisa is responsible for all IABM marketing and sales activities. In addition she is responsible for organising our events, our CRM, website and publications. Lisa is your key contact for any enquiries about media information and is Chair for our Exhibition Task Group. Lisa would be delighted to hear from anyone that has feedback, both positive and negative on how we can enhance any of the IABM’s activities.
Ben works alongside Lisa in the IABM’s marketing team and is responsible for the IABM online and digital presence including the IABM website, email communications, social media, the IABM App and IABM.TV. Please contact Ben if you have any ideas or suggestions for improvements to IABM digital offerings.
The Broadcast Industry is currently witnessing a lot of changes which are creating unprecedented challenges within the Broadcast community in all markets including the MENA region. Hassan joined IABM during these crucial times and is looking forward to supporting the IABM current and potential members in their efforts to deliver their solutions to the Broadcast players in the MENA region.
As well as overseeing the activities of our Standards Monitoring Group and Advisory Board, John also provides leadership for approved projects related to industry strategy and needing industry specific knowledge and has shared responsibility for a number of key business development activities.
Andy leads on the IABM’s training portfolio, our University forum and works with the IABM Educational Foundation to deliver technical skills certification, engineering student awards and initiatives designed to develop the next generation of talented people for our industry. Andy is a Chartered Engineer and joined us from the BBC’s Wood Norton Training Academy in 2016. He’s your contact for all training and educational initiatives or feedback.
Lucinda is Finance Director and Company Secretary for the IABM and has been with the Association since 2006. She is responsible for the IABM’s financial, legal and corporate matters and is a qualified chartered accountant having trained with Deloitte Haskins and Sells (now PwC).
Well known throughout the world, Stan has worked in our industry for over three decades always focussing on technology with an exceptional business approach. You will often see Stan’s forward-looking articles in various industry publications including the IABM Journal. Furthermore Stan represents the IABM membership on the NATAS Emmy Technical Committee.
Sonali supports Lucinda in the day to day operation of the finance function, including preparing the management accounts and is the first port of call for any invoice or payment queries. Sonali is currently studying for her CIMA qualification.
Darren's main responsibilities are to lead IABM’s efforts to transition from service-oriented approach to a sales-oriented, customer service model whilst identifying opportunities for growth in existing and new revenue streams.
Joe of Devoncroft Partners has been appointed to help promote the association within the North American region. Many of you will already know Joe as he has worked in the industry at senior level for many years. He is also familiar with the IABM having previously been a members' board participant.
Nigel brings expertise in environmental issues. In his role as a member of the Standards Monitoring Group he produces regular reports on legislative changes which are available to members on the IABM website.
Paul is a valued and active member of our Standards Monitoring Group who represents the IABM on SMPTE and AES Standards Committees and at ABU Technical Committee meetings. He provides the IABM with regular news and reports on standards development which are made available to members on the IABM website.
Roger initially joined the Quantel marketing department in 1985 and moved on to become Head of Publicity. Quantel develops innovative, world-leading content creation systems for broadcast, post and DI. Roger has been an active supporter of the IABM throughout his time in the broadcasting industry, and has watched with delight as it has developed into the broad-based, truly representative industry body that it is today.
